Teflon
Teflon is a brand name of chemical compound of fluorine and carbon called PTFE. The name "Teflon" has now become so popular that it has acquired the position of generic name for this chemical. It is a plastic material that is highly resistant to chemicals, corrosion and oxidation. It can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C. Also, it has one of the lowest coefficient of friction against any solid.

NDYLON teflon is a specialized engineering plastic which has excellent non stick properties — it has a surface to which no substance will adhere. Teflon is not affected by almost all chemicals and solvents and has outstanding dielectric properties, which make teflon sheets the ideal engineering plastic for electrical and thermal insulators, seals, glide rings, etc.
